The objective of the game is to familiarise users with St Martin’s heritage:
they will learn about the life of the saint, the values he represented and the current manifestations of his legend along with some traditions still present.
The application has been designed for families with children. The menu offers games and information materials for three target groups: kindergarten age children, children above 6 years and families with children. In the latter case, parents are required to be actively involved and use the in-built GPS device to locate places in Szombathely related to St Martin.
When a particular game is completed, the user will receive a lantern. When someone has completed all the games in the application, he or she will be able to apply for a certificate. The data sent to us will only be used for the manufacturing of the certificate and will be immediately deleted once the certificate has been prepared.
The application is available in Hungarian and in English.
The application has been prepared within the framework of a project supported by Interreg Central Europe and entitled „CE1195 NewPilgrimAge, Reinterpreting St Martin’s values in the 21st century – cultural heritage as a new driving force for community-based hospitality”.
